hello everyone
could anyone please tell me that y most of u go for toefl and not ielts??
I'm thinking of ielts since most of the universities in US accept it too...would it be a wrong decision to give ielts n not toefl??

Hello how is Temple University for MIS, dint hear much about this university. But the MIS program is ranked good in the United States.
Please comment for the same .......

not all universities accept ielts. be sure if u wanna go for specific universities

Hello, I am Jasmeet
I want to undertake MS in MIS course. Currently I am in my 7th semester of Btech in IT.
My GRE is ( V- 145 Q-160) - 305
TOEFL yet to give.
Degree % is 70+ and by end i hope to end at 75%
What are my chances of getting into this university for Fall 2013 or Spring 2014

10 th marks - 92 percent.
12th marks - 83 %
B.E. Electronics and telecomm - 75% with no backlogs
GRE- 319 (v-159 m-160)
TOEFL - 102
i wish to do my masters in MIS
.. so plz sugest me some good universities and tell which are moderate and whch are safe??
i have though of following unis.. plz tell if these are good enough..

Hey prathima you have good chances of getting into all the univ which you have mentioned above....
even i have applied for the same universities for MIS...if you have wrk xprience that would certainly strengthen your profile and will have huge chances of getting into all dhose univ.
I have applied for OSU, USF, TTU, Northeastern univ and just to b in dh safer side i went with UHCL tooo...
my profile is Acads 77% with no backlogs, GRE 303, toefl xpecting 95+ and wrk xprience of 2 yrs.....
if u ready to spend some gud mney...u can go with Univ of Arizona, Univ of illinois chicago, Georgia state univ in which all these univ have a very gud MIS program but you should b street smart to get GA or funding etc.... i feel u can get into Texas a & m which is very gud in all prospects ..... al dh best dude
