Pls evaluate my profile for spring 2013, it's urgent!!!

Hi,

Here is my profile

GRE: 302 ( quant-158, verbal- 144)
TOEFL- 89
Academics- 66%

1 IEEE paper published
2 years of work experience in Cognizant ( since worked for software it doesnt count much I think)

I applied to following univ's, pls tell me the chances of getting:

1> Illinois inst of tech
2> Syracuse univ
3> San Jose
4> Polytechnic univ NY

Thank you very much max. I had also applied for univ of kansas applicn got denied and the reason was many well qualified students apply to their univ and were unable to give admission to many talented students, suggestion from them was retake Toefl and apply for fall. Kansas rejection was a shock and so I lost some confidence. How about Syracuse univ doesnt it be ambitious for my profile?. In Syracuse applicn they asked fr GPA, bt my univ doesnt have GPA calculation. Do you any idea about converting percentage into GPA?.

Hi Arunvl take a look at this doc - may be you can calculate the GPA on basis of this logic http://jntu.ac.in/bboard/CMU%20NOTIFICATION.doc

I did mine for 58% it came about 2.778 out of 4.00 so yours would be definitely be above 3.00 ...just an approximation it came about 3.17 so thats well above 3.00
